Yap Teck Hui

Teck Hui obtained his LL.B (Hons) Degree from Northumbria University in Newcastle, United Kingdom. He subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) at Cardiff University, United Kingdom and was admitted as a Barrister-at-Law with Middle Temple. Thereafter, he was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.

Teck Hui commenced his pupillage in one of the prestigious firms in Kuala Lumpur specializing in conveyancing related matters, particularly in the preparation of sale and purchase agreements, loan documentation for housing projects.

Teck Hui then commenced practice with another esteemed firm in Kuala Lumpur where he specializes in complex civil and commercial litigation. He was also involved in various highly contentious matters including a highly contested execution proceedings where he had successfully defended a multimillion Charging Order Proceedings on behalf of a client.

Teck Hui’s area of practice includes construction disputes, family law matters, defamation, intellectual property disputes, contractual disputes, banking litigation and employment law.
